Description

  • Thermo Sheath - A standard treatment on all Armburys dynamic and static ropes that aligns the core and the sheath. This process allows the core of the rope to seamlessly run in parallel with the sheath, giving the rope easy handling, added flexibility, and ensures the rope will not shrink or become stiff.
  • Dry Pro - Armbury ropes with the dry pro option have both a dry core and sheath. Armburys dry treatment uses a Teflon layer to repel moisture and dust, expanding the lifespan of the ropes. Dry treated ropes meet the UIAA 101 requirements for water repellent tests by being tested by an accredited, independent third party.
  • Intercore Technology - Bonds the sheath and the core to insure minimum sheath slippage, making the rope more durable and keeping the sheath from milking off the core. Intercore technology provides maximum protection in cases where the sheath becomes damaged on your climb.
  • UIAA specs - This rope withstands (8) falls under EN892 (safety requirements and testing procedures); a static elongation of 7.5%, dynamic elongation of 31%, sheath slippage of 0.1%, and a sheath percentage of 35. This rope supports 60 g/m with an impact force of 8.9 kN.
