This kit rebuilds the standard Sea Star steering Cylinder HC4645H HC4648H HC4658H, we used all Viton seals for this kit as Viton is a super material and costs 15 times more than other NBR or Urethane materials and last 2-3 times as long, Viton was Formulated by Dupont it is a Synthetic Rubber which resists Oxidation, UV Rays, Solvents, Acids and ozone on paper the working life of this material is about 30 years and I would suspect it will last even longer than that.
